LAKE POWELL NO KIDS ALLOWED!!!
As I was packing for the trip I was overly anxious about EVERYTHING, Ryans first day of 1st grade, being gone from Haley and the boys for almost a week and not really having a firm grip on my entire life.......... BUT all seemed to fade away as we entered the water. I must say it is amazing what happens when the only person you have to worry about is YOU!
Now I would not recommend this for more than one or two weeks a year but I must say the balance I have with this new found clarity has been amazing. I am actually getting up in the morning by myself minus the alarm clock at 7:30 am (for all of you who don't think that is such a big deal you obviously don't know me very well). My boys are wearing clothes that match, hair that is done and teeth that are brushed. I am on my way to gym by 9am if I don't have any urgent business to attend to or tending for friends ha ha ha and I feel great! This is absolutely something I need to do again.
By the way it helps to have great friends and family that can take on the slack at home and also friends that help you to relax on the trip!!! This goes out to all of you! xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxooxxoxo xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox

P.S. This video is probably shows the 20th time that I tried to wake surf (NOT KIDDING) and was the best of all, I'm a little HIGH thanks to all the fumes of the boat, but I DID it! Sorry for the motion sickness girls, we did have to stop, start, stop, start etc. etc. etc. you guys are the best!

Cat, you did it!!!! I am way impressed. And no one deserves a break of "real" life more than you. You are the best neighbor/friend that anyone could ever ask for. Your kids are way lucky to have such an on the all mom.
um, I didn't sign a release to allow you to use my image on this blog. I'm going to sue.
